Once again, talented powerhouse designer Marc Jacobs has collaborated with another artist to liven up the Louis Vuitton aesthetic. In the past the luxury label has selected artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Takashi Murakami, and Richard Prince to adorn apparel and accessories with signature art. This time, French conceptual artist Daniel Buren created the yellow checkerboard set for the Spring runway show in Paris this past October, and the fresh concept will now be incorporated into the LV Spring ’13 Ad Campaigns (launching in February). So optimistic, mod, and chic, all wrapped into one graphic illusion. Love it when fashion and art continue their love affair!
