H&M for all mankind…

After being slammed for the controversial Summer 2008 “Queen of Africa” campaign (which featured all white women clad in turbans, kaftans, and beads), H&M appears to have made strides towards a more conscious approach in diversifying their ad campaigns for this Holiday season.

Not only does the Holiday 2010 campaign feature a cast of models from African to Asian (including Du Juan, Fei Fei Sun, and Liya Kebede along with friends and family), but the photos are also beautifully staged in a way that seems to subtly embrace a diversity in sexual preference.

The global retailer also put their money where their mouth is by adding philanthropy to their Holiday plan, teaming up with UNICEF in support of their clean water project in Asia.

Clean water, clothing, culture and cuddling for all mankind…’Tis the season!
